In this short, I break down who the 2025 Honda Rebel 1100T DCT is for—and who it’s definitely NOT for—based on real miles in the saddle. Bottom line: it’s a fantastic motorcycle. I’ve loved every mile out of it, and I get a smile on my face every time I sit down and ride. The value for money is a big deal here too, because when you compare it to other bikes in the same class, you’re often paying a few thousand more for similar features. But it’s not a one-size-fits-all bike. If you’re super tall, this probably isn’t your best match—I wouldn’t want to be much taller than I am at six foot even on this platform. And if you’re chasing a performance cruiser with spec-sheet bragging rights (huge horsepower/torque numbers), that’s not what the Rebel 1100 is trying to be. Also, if you’re just not into the whole DCT idea, skip it and grab the manual—still a fantastic motorcycle. For everyone else, especially riders who want solid value, fun, and modern tech, this bike makes a ton of sense. I’m also a big fan of it for riders who can’t work a clutch (including partially disabled riders). And for new riders: you can buy this as your first and only bike if you can keep yourself in check—start in rain mode, get comfortable, and grow into it.
