Hi and welcome back to Inland 208 Adventures—I'm Chris, and this one’s all about getting out and riding even when the forecast isn’t playing nice. In this video I take my 2025 Honda Rebel 1100T DCT on our first group ride, with my dad on his 1985 Suzuki GS750 and my brother-in-law Taylor on his 2011 Triumph he just picked up. The plan was simple: ride around the entirety of Lake Coeur d’Alene, soak up the views, and finish breaking in the bike the right way. We start in Coeur d’Alene, roll down toward Plummer, cut across the backside of the lake to St. Maries, then wind our way into Harrison before looping back. It’s about 105 miles with roughly 2.5 hours of ride time if you go straight through—but we’re not doing that. The weather report was calling for some nasty stuff, but we decided to risk it because we’re not afraid of a little rain. This ride features the CDA Scenic Byway, and if you’ve ridden it, you already know: twisty shoreline roads, big lake views, and a perfect route for a family day on two wheels.
