About This Video

Welcome back to Inland 208 Adventures—I'm Chris, and it’s been way too long since we’ve done a proper motorcycle adventure. In this ride, I hop on my 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT and head about an hour north of home through rural, scenic North Idaho to check out the longest bridge in the entire state, up in Sandpoint. This one’s a little different too: I’m not doing a whole bunch of talking—more of a “just pure riding” kind of video—so you can soak in the road, the views, and that whole North Idaho vibe. Along the way, I share a bit of the story behind the Long Bridge: originally built in 1910 entirely out of wood, it was once the longest wooden bridge of its kind in the world at 1.76 miles. The current bridge was built in 1981 and it delivers some of the most breathtaking views in North Idaho as it crosses Lake Pend Oreille (one of the deepest lakes in the U.S.). The big takeaway for me is simple: don’t wait for the perfect moment to ride. If you do, you’ll miss out—so find the beauty where you live, make life a little bigger, and lean into the adventure.
