ZimaBlade - TrueNAS Replication Target

Have you wanted to set up a low power, TrueNAS replication target so you may have an additional replicated backup on your network? In this video, I demonstrate how to set up a second TrueNAS Scale installation and configure it to be used as a replication target. IceWhale Tech sent me their #ZimaBlade 7700 to try out. The ZimaBlade is essentially a smaller form factor, lower cost version of the #ZimaBoard. It features the same Intel N3450 as the ZimaBoard 432/832 models. The RAM is not soldered on the board so you can use up to a 16 GB DDR3 SODIMM RAM module with the ZimaBlade. The extra RAM capacity compared to the ZimaBoard will be useful if you plan to use the ZimaBlade as a lightweight virtualization server. The ZimaBlade does have 1 less Gigabit Ethernet interface and USB 3.0 port, but still features all of the same external connections as the ZimaBoard: 2x SATA, 1 USB 3.0, and Mini DisplayPort. The ZimaBlade uses USB-C for power which is advertised to support power, data, and a display but I only used it for power (I do not have a monitor which supports a USB-C connection to test this functionality).
