TechxArtisan is back with another USB KVM solution called Openterface KVM-GO. This KVM is small enough to fit on a keychain! One nice aspect about USB KVM devices is that you don't need a network connection in order to use them. These devices are intended to use at your desk to connect to a device to control it rather than remotely controlling a device like you would with an IP KVM. In this video, I evaluate the HDMI version of the Openterface KVM-GO. Similar to the original Openterface, I discovered that the KVM is better supported in Windows that in Linux. Although I don't have a Mac to test with this device, from what I've seen, Mac support is also very smooth similar to Windows. In addition, I've seen other videos of users using this device with an Android tablet without issue. I am hoping Linux support will improve over time because I noticed that even the original Openterface works much better in Linux than when I first tried it out. One interesting aspect about the Openterface KVM-GO is that it supports a microSD card so you can expand the storage capacity that you can share between the target and host machines. Not all of these types of KVM solutions have the ability to expand the storage capacity so I like that it supports microSD cards. If you wish to purchase the Openterface, you may preorder (or order) on their website: https://openterface.com/kvmgo/ Chapters: 00:05 Openterface KVM-GO 00:59 Openterface KVM-GO and accessories 02:52 Windows app 03:35 Linux app 05:00 iPad OS app 05:47 Disclosure 06:06 Conclusion EP99 Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvdHQkQv8KpwMnKkitmUVTQ/join
