Channel Update (June 2026)

This video announces a second channel that I am starting called Home Network Tech ( @homenetworktech ) where the focus will purely be on products that may be used in a home networks (many of which are sponsored and some of which I purchased because I wanted to try it out). Quick startup/setup guides may be included in such videos and/or very brief product demonstrations. The Home Network Guy channel will focus more on technical guides and projects which may use sponsored hardware but the sponsored hardware will be much less of the focus. Some technical guides may not include sponsored items at all (such as showing how to configure OPNsense via the web UI). Whenever a product lends itself well for a particular project, it will likely be featured on both channels (product overview on Home Network Tech and technical guide/project on Home Network Guy). Certain products such as programmable keyboards may not lend themselves well to a tech guide or project so will only be featured on Home Network Tech. I hope this will be good news to those who enjoy the tech guides and projects on this channel.
