If you have 2 PCs at you desk such as a gaming PC and a workstation PC or laptop, you may be interested in a high end KVM solution designed to support both gaming and typical workstation applications. The TESmart HDK203-M24 supports up to 3 displays on 2 PCs at 8K 60Hz and 4K 144Hz, which is great if you enjoy gaming at high refresh rates. This means you do not need to compromise performance when you want to connect a gaming PC to a KVM along with some other system. The KVM supports a lot of features that gamers desire such as HDR support, G-Sync, and FreeSync. The KVM has 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as 2 USB 1.1 ports for a keyboard and mouse. There is a audio jack for a headset as well as an Ethernet port on the back so you can share a single 1 Gbps Ethernet connection between 2 systems. There is an included remote control that can be used to switch between the 2 systems, but you may also use keyboard shortcuts. Because this is a higher end KVM that can push up to 48 Gbps of data, it includes a fan to help keep the KVM cool. The fan is not very quiet and can be distracting. Thankfully, you can turn down the fan speed or even turn it off completely so it can run silent. Since I'm not pushing the KVM to its limits, it seems to only get slightly warm to the touch with the fans off so I think it should be possible to have the fans off if your room is relatively cool.llllllll The KVM also supports EDID emulation so that the screen doesn't jump around when switching between the 2 systems. It remembers the EDID information to provide a smoother transition when switching systems. I noticed if you don't have the same number of monitors connected to the 2nd system, that the screen did jump around a bit but it eventually settled to the desired configuration. It could be related to the devices I'm using but for the best experience, you may want to have the same number of monitors connected to both PCs. I also had some minor issues with a wireless USB dongle and a newer USB keyboard not properly being recognized on the 2nd system when switching between 2 PCs. It could be related to the specific hardware that I am using since I'm using one Linux and one Windows 11 machine, but note that when I connected the problematic USB devices to the USB 3.0 ports, the switching worked properly for the USB devices. You just have to sacrifice a higher speed USB interface if you are having trouble with your specific hardware. Overall, besides the minor USB keyboard/mouse issue, everything worked great once I connected everything to both PCs at my desk.
