Remotely Control a PC or Server with TinyPilot Voyager 2a!

KVMs allow you to share a keyboard, mouse, and video with 2 or more systems. KVM over IP allows you to remotely control another system over the network using the keyboard, mouse, and video on your PC. KVM over IP is intended to be used on systems which do not offer IPMI functionality. Several advantages of KVM over IP versus remote desktop is that you can see the boot screen and even install an Operating System remotely whereas remote desktop only works on a system with an already installed Operating System (and you cannot see the screen outside of a fully loaded OS). In this video, I take a look at the KVM over IP solution called the TinyPilot Voyager 2a and demonstrate how it functions. The convenience of fully controlling another system on your network including installing an OS is so great. I use my TinyPilot on a regular basis to configure my mini-PCs that I am reviewing and testing for my website and YouTube content!
