For those interested in creating a Proxmox cluster, I thought some intermediate steps I am taking to migrate to a Proxmox cluster comprised of several mini-PCs which will be replacing my old, more power hungry Proxmox server. I realize that clusters aren't for the average home network, but I'm planning to keep it relatively simple for now with Proxmox by only leveraging some replication of my OPNsense VM and making use of the live migration feature. Mostly I want to have the ability to move VMs/CTs over to another node when I want to power down a system to do upgrades/maintenance or when I reboot it. It will also provide some redundancy as well. A future video will show the final physical connections as well as the configuration of the cluster. Note: This video is intended to show some intermediate steps I am making toward moving to a Proxmox cluster and is not an attempt to market/sell any products. To show this intention, I will not be including any affiliate links in this video (if you like to support my efforts, you may find some Amazon affiliate links in my other videos and website).
