In this video, I take a look at more WiFi 7 access points from EnGenius and Grandstream: the EnGenius ECW520 and Grandstream GWN7672. Both are tri-band WiFi 7 APs so they support the 2.4/5/6 GHz bands. The GWN7672 is Grandstream's first triband WiFi 7 access point and EnGenius already had WiFi 7 triband access points on the market (such as the ECW516L that I discussed in a previous video). Both of these APs have issue fully saturating 2.5 Gbps when the APs are configured properly and the WiFi 7 client is near the AP with no obstructions. Note that the performance can vary greatly depending on the capabilities of the WiFi 7 client. To achieve maximum performance in my testing, I use a Windows 11 system with a WiFi 7 module such as the Intel BE200 which is capable of utilizing up to 320 MHz channels as well as supporting MLO. Disclosure: EnGenius and Grandstream sent me the products to try out and they do not get to see the video before I publish it.
