7.9 Inch Ultra Wide Portable Touch Screen

I took a look at the Elecrow 7.9" long strip touch screen display in this video to see how one might want to use such a panel in their homelab. One could use it on the wall, desk, inside a PC, on or in a server rack, and more. In addition to the Home Assistant dashboard, I tried a couple other dashboard apps to see how they would work with this screen. You would need to do some tweaking to get everything to fit properly within the 400x1280 resolution. Full Disclosure: Elecrow sent me the screen but opinions are my own. They do not see the video before it goes live. Also, I had agreed to do a video on the Elecrow screen before it was discovered that Elecrow used AI software to replicate Jeff Geerling's voice which caused a stir.
