This is the bonus episode / finale of my Program Manager series—basically the part people don’t talk about: what happens after you finally get the job. The excitement wears off, and a few months in you start asking, “Is this it?” Do I chase the next promotion, switch companies, or even switch careers? In this video I walk through what’s helped me personally: learning financial literacy ASAP, making work as enjoyable as possible, building a healthier work-life balance, and defining goals that go way beyond a job title. I’m not a financial advisor, but I went deep on YouTube to learn the fundamentals—debt payoff, investing basics like the S&P 500, and setting up retirement accounts like a 401k and Roth IRA. I’m proud that I became debt-free last year, but I’ll be real: it took discipline, and it’s mostly behavioral. I also talk about “work to live, not live to work”—take your PTO, plan trips, make memories, and still be financially smart. And the biggest reminder: you’re more than your title. For me, my goals are to keep dancing, get better at making videos, and build a community where we can learn and grow together.
