I made it to Rome and basically hit the ground running—starting with a very important Airbnb bathroom tour (two toilets… so you can face each other or face the same way, I don’t know). From there, it’s straight into Trastevere vibes, a lemoncello spritz as the first spritz of the trip, and my first “noni” experience—those free public drinking fountains that are everywhere in Italy. I tried it, had thoughts, and yeah… I still used a Brita because I wanted to be a little bit safer. This vlog is a mix of city wandering and the classic Rome checklist: walking along the Tiber River, gelato at Fior di Luna, and then the big hitters—Colosseum and Roman Forum in full heat (umbrella = lifesaver). I’m not gonna lie, it was hot-hot, to the point where I had to stop vlogging for a sec because I was dying. We also did a midday nap reset before heading back out, grabbed tiramisu, and somehow ended up on a mission for an Italy McDonald’s Happy Meal Squishmallow—yes, we negotiated a toy swap. I wrap the video with a quick goodbye to our first Airbnb and an early morning Pantheon stop around 9:30 AM. It’s very “documenting memories” energy: chaotic, cinematic, and honest about what the day actually feels like.
