I made it to Florence and filmed a full day that’s basically my perfect mix of city wandering, food missions, and little cinematic moments—shot on the DJI Pocket 3. We definitely woke up late, but honestly it worked out because we were well-rested and could just enjoy the day without rushing. First stop was the Duomo (it’s a lot in the best way), then we grabbed breakfast—avocado toast and coffee—and kept it moving through the city. Food was the real storyline here. I tried basil ravioli with tomato (chef’s recommendation, €6) and it was genuinely solid—especially knowing it was their first ravioli. We also stopped by the oldest pharmacy/perfume spot (super light scents), and I finally tried lampredotto—yeah, the “final stomach” of a cow. I was nervous when I first saw it because it looked thick, but once it’s drenched in sauce (bun too) and chopped up, it’s actually juicy and worth trying. We topped the day with gelato (tiramisu + pistachio with Sicilian salt) and truffle pizza—intense truffle flavor, but balanced. Just a chill Florence day, measured with our hearts.
