In this video I’m sharing a handful of luxury pieces I’ve recently sold, and the full thought process behind each decision. Some of these were genuinely hard to let go of (especially because a couple of them were early “luxury journey” purchases), but I’m really trying to keep my collection to items I truly love and actually use. I walk you through what I sold, what I replaced it with in my day-to-day, and why holding onto something “just because it’s pretty” doesn’t always make sense. I talk about selling my Louis Vuitton Eva Clutch (even though I still think it’s iconic and versatile), mainly because I wasn’t reaching for it anymore after getting my Pochette Accessoires with a vachetta strap. I also sold my Louis Vuitton Damier Azur key pouch because the newer canvas quality felt way too soft and didn’t feel luxurious to use. And then I get into Chanel shoes—my espadrilles and slingbacks—because they just weren’t comfortable for my feet, and I barely wore them. My biggest takeaway: if you’re not using it and you’ve given it time (like 6–12 months) to see if you’ll miss it, selling can be a really practical way to free up space and funds (especially when you’ve got real-life priorities like a wedding to pay for).
