In today’s video I’m comparing two bags that *seem* really different at first glance, but when you actually hold them side by side… they’re surprisingly similar in shape, size and overall capacity: the Louis Vuitton Alma BB (mine is in Damier Ebene) and the Givenchy Antigona Mini in black smooth calfskin. I go through all the features and little differences—zip closure, top handle feel, interior pockets, strap options (detachable vs detachable + adjustable), and the accessories each bag comes with. I also talk about pricing (in AUD) and what I’ve seen on the pre-loved market, because resale value is a huge part of “is it worth it?” for me. The Alma BB holds its value *so* much better, whereas the Antigona Mini resale is honestly really poor now (even in great condition). But if you’re looking at value for money in terms of materials, the Antigona is an all-leather bag for around the same price as canvas. Then I do a proper capacity test (yes, including a full-size 600ml water bottle) and share my thoughts on durability from real wear—especially with my Antigona, which I’ve had since 2017 and even worn in the rain. In the end, even though they tie in a lot of categories, I personally would choose the Alma BB because it just feels so special, elegant, and timeless—and I love the gold hardware and the history behind it.
