In this video I’m unboxing one of the most special pieces in my collection: my Cartier Juste un Clou Small Bracelet with diamonds in 18K yellow gold—my 30th birthday present from Anthony and myself. This has been on my wishlist for years, and because I’m a huge packaging freak, I go through everything from the boutique bag differences I noticed, to the wax seal wrapping, the booklet with receipt/authenticity card, and the red velvet travel pouch. If you’re here just for the reveal, I totally get it—but I wanted to show the full experience. I also share my first impressions and sizing tips, because the JUC is a wire bracelet and it bends to get it on and off (it looks scary, but it’s normal). I chose size 16cm, and I explain why you generally size down compared to the Love bracelet so the nail head doesn’t overlap and scratch your stack. I compare how the JUC’s shape and finish may scratch differently versus flatter pieces like the Love. Finally, I talk honestly about my Cartier boutique experience—nice SA, but very transactional. I had to ask for things like gift wrapping, the travel pouch, and cleaning/polishing, and I’m still annoyed the cleaning kit wasn’t offered for a $7,150 diamond piece. Luxury pricing should come with a luxury experience, and mine was… just kind of eh.
