In this video I take you through my full “dream to reality” desk setup build—my ultimate productivity and gaming setup for 2023. A bunch of driving factors pushed me to finally invest in a space I’d actually be excited to sit in: books on habits, flow state, deep work, and creative thinking, plus starting a new role as a supply chain manager at a high-paced venture startup (WFH), and putting more time into video editing for social media and my personal brand. Since I’m at my desk 32–40 hours a week, I built this setup around three goals: functionality, aesthetics, and coziness. I break down the whole build: the L-desk layout (so I can turn away from screens and focus on reading), the multi-monitor + laptop layout for editing, automation, coding, Discord, and even a personal Power BI dashboard. I also cover the pieces that made the biggest difference—warm, cozy lighting (especially the monitor light bar), decor that keeps the “modern forest” vibe, and cable management that’s actually not that bad if you plan power placement and buy longer cables. After two weeks of using it, I can honestly say it’s boosted my motivation, focus, and how I feel about work—I wake up excited to be here.
