Oh my god y’all—this video is literally my wedding day from the tears to the full traditional afterparty turn up. I’m in real tears at the start because I cannot believe I’m marrying my best friend. Then my glam team got me all the way together—hair laid, makeup laid—and I finally felt like that bride for real. Me and my girls even did a cute little bridal team video before it was time to step out for the official part. Once the official arrived, me and hubby did the signing and our vows, took pictures, and then boom—it was time for the outfit change. I switched into my traditional afterparty dress made by an African designer here in Nigeria, and she did her thing because that outfit was perfect. My girls helped me get my gele wrapped (yes, it was a task), and then we did our grand entrance with the whole bridal team looking so good. From there, it was pure, raw celebration—dancing with my husband, greeting everyone, getting a drink, and getting sprayed on the dance floor. This was truly a day to remember, and you already know I need y’all to come back for Part 2.
