In this video I’m giving you two quick tips to plan your Nigeria trip the right way so you can land and get through the airport stress-free. I’ve got plenty of tips, but these two are the ones that will save you the most frustration the moment you touch down. If you’re flying into Lagos, listen to me—these steps matter. First tip: please, please, please fill out your landing card before you arrive in Nigeria—but not too early. I know you’re excited, but you do not need to fill it out more than two days before you land. When people do it way too early, the system starts moving dates around, it can kick you out, and you end up stressed before your trip even starts. Second tip: set up airport assistance, even if you did your Nigerian visa on your own and didn’t use an agency. Lagos airport can be hectic, hot, and exhausting, and having assistance to guide you through immigration and customs is genuinely worth the investment.
