In this GEG Ohio Nov/Dec 2025 meeting, I walk through a packed set of updates and practical ideas for educators who are trying to keep up with Google Workspace and the fast-moving AI world (especially Gemini). We start with the key links and upcoming events, then I share what’s new across Google’s ecosystem—from big-picture items like the Google DeepMind documentary to more classroom-connected updates like Mixboard presentations, a new AI Quest, and changes to Deep Research. I also cover new Gemini certifications, Gemini 3, and several Gemini feature updates, including interactive images and AI image detection. From there, I dig into the “what this means for schools” side of things: updated free-vs-paid Gemini limits, Workspace Studio agents, and NotebookLM improvements (including Deep Research and the camera feature). I also highlight Classroom and Chromebook changes—like assigning public Notebooks, Gemini coming to Chrome on Chromebook Plus models, and new expiration controls for shared files and folders. We wrap with Drive PDF interface updates, free Gemini features in Vids, longer AI notes in Meet, live Gemini translation in Google Translate, new Arts & Culture activities, plus show-and-tell, Q&A, and a quick wrap-up with resources to stay connected.
