In this video we see how math content, symbols, and expressions that are created in Gemini can be exported properly into Google Docs. To do this we use the free and easy add-on for Docs called Auto-LaTeX Equations, which converts the LaTeX code for the math into beautiful math images in Docs. 👉 Get the Auto-LaTex Equations add-on here: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/autolatex_equations/850293439076?flow_type=2 Stay connected and access all of my other resources - https://bit.ly/caa-connect 🧰 Eric’s EdTech blog - https://www.controlaltachieve.com 📧 Email - ericcurts@gmail.com ▶️ YouTube - https://youtube.com/ericcurts 📮 Join the "Control Alt Achieve" email discussion group - https://bit.ly/caa-emailgroup 💬 Join the "Control Alt Achieve" Facebook group - https://bit.ly/caa-fb 📰 Sign up for my weekly email newsletter - https://bit.ly/curts-news 🔔 Get new blog posts automatically through email - https://follow.it/control-alt-achieve?leanpub 📗 "Control Alt Achieve" book - https://bit.ly/curts-books 🏫 Bring me to your school, organization, or conference with over 70 PD sessions to choose from - https://bit.ly/curts-pd

About This Video

In this video I walk through a super practical workflow for getting math that you generate in Gemini into Google Docs the right way. If you’ve ever copied math symbols or expressions from an AI chat and ended up with formatting that looks off (or just doesn’t behave like real math), this is the fix. The key idea is to have Gemini give you the math in LaTeX code, and then let Google Docs convert that LaTeX into clean, readable math. To do that conversion, I use a free Google Docs add-on called Auto-LaTeX Equations. Once it’s installed, you can paste in the LaTeX that Gemini provides and have the add-on render it as beautiful math images right inside your Doc. That means your equations look like actual math, not a jumble of characters, and it’s much easier to share with students, include in handouts, or drop into lesson materials. If you’re building classroom-ready resources with AI, this is one of those small workflow upgrades that saves time and makes your documents look far more professional.
