In this Vlogtober catch-up (days 15–18), I’m basically giving you a real NYC weekend recap plus a few beauty updates. My fiancé and I ended up going out two nights in a row—wine bar in K-Town, a sports bar moment, and then Mala Project where I tried dry hot pot for the first time (think hot pot vibes, but no broth and way spicier). We also did karaoke, and I have to talk about the staff situation because the guy working there was honestly so rude that it genuinely shifted my mood. After that, I’m back in my routine—gym, editing, and just resetting. I also share what I’ve been watching lately (Korean reality shows, and we started a culinary one that feels like a different take on MasterChef). I mention wanting to go to Saks to smell fragrances for something I’m working on, because I like to sample what I want and leave without the whole fragrance-counter sales pitch. On the beauty side, I finally bleach my brows again using the Jolen bleach kit from Amazon (I’ve noticed it takes longer to process now than when I first started). And the best part: I get my nails done by my friend (she’s a nail artist) and she gives me the prettiest gradient set with silver bow charms and pearls—aka my exact vibe.
