About This Video

In this Wedding Diaries episode, I’m officially on the hunt for my wedding scent—and yes, I tested over 15 fragrances because we mean business. I’m getting married in less than two weeks, and I knew I wanted a brand new perfume for the day/weekend since I correlate scents with memories. I didn’t want to wear anything I already own and accidentally tie my wedding to an old chapter, so I asked Twisted Lily to help me sample a bunch of niche options (and they were so kind—handwritten note and everything). Before I started sniffing, I laid out my ā€œrulesā€: the bottle has to be pretty (bridal vibes matter to me), I want to feel feminine and sexy (not super soapy/clean or shampoo-y), and my fiancĆ© has to like it because I want him to smell it later and immediately think of our wedding. I walked through everything from bridal-looking Xerjoff Dama Bianca (soft, powdery, dries down skin-like) to super gourmand picks like Bianco Latte (intoxicating caramel-vanilla, but felt too common for my wedding) and a few TikTok-popular scents my fiancĆ© loved that I personally didn’t. After ranking my top five, I chose BDK Parfums Pas Ce Soir. It’s tea-adjacent in that warm, cozy way I love, still floral and sweet, and it smells like me—but special.
