In this GRWM, I’m finally sitting down for a real catch-up while I do my makeup—because it’s been a minute since I did a chatty get ready with me. I’m fresh back from Korea (two weeks, so fun, and yes… I was genuinely depressed coming back), and I’m also in the middle of editing the rest of my Korea vlogs. The trip was a birthday gift from my boyfriend, and even though it was colder than we planned (plus we all got sick at the end), it was still one of my favorite experiences. And the biggest update: I’m engaged. We got engaged in Seoul Forest (it’s literally like their Central Park), and it ended up being the perfect proposal for me—private, not over-the-top, and just the two of us. I’m shy, so I didn’t want a big audience, and I loved that he even filmed it because he never films anything. I also share how I chose my dream ring (radiant cut, because I wanted that sparkle in any light), what I wore that day, and the little “debrief” we did after—cafe first, then a really cool hip hop/R&B wine bar. Makeup-wise, I’m also talking through what’s been working lately (and what hasn’t), like being careful with the One/Size powder under my eyes, and the lip combo I’ve been obsessed with. Plus, I’m sharing the Korea-only fragrance I bought to remember the trip and the new scent my fiancé picked for our anniversary.
