About This Video

I recently got into skincare after moving into my San Francisco apartment, and I wanted to see what would happen if I actually committed to a full routine instead of just randomly washing my face. In this video, I do a 30-day challenge where I keep my usual multi-step skincare (cleanser, toner, vitamin C, essence, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc.) and add a personalized prescription acne medication from Curology. I also didn’t want to pretend skincare is magic, so I tried to support it with better habits too—drinking more water, exercising more, and cutting back on junk/fried food. After a month, I took comparison photos (right, left, and front), and you can see there’s less redness and my dark spots/acne scars look reduced. It’s not an overnight “fixed in one month” situation, but the improvement is real, and I’m planning to keep going. I also walk through my actual day vs. night routine and how I double cleanse, exfoliate (only twice a week), and layer products without it taking forever—my whole routine is honestly like 2–3 minutes when I’m not talking to the camera. The biggest takeaway: consistency matters, sunscreen matters, and a personalized prescription can be a solid next step if you’re trying to fade acne scars and calm breakouts.
