What Was Never Lost is a contemporary dance work inspired by the vibrant red blooms of the summer flame trees. It explores the fire, passion, and vitality that pulse through the natural world and within ourselves. This piece traces a journey from disconnection and emptiness to rediscovering that quiet heartbeat, that spark of purpose that reminds us we’re on the right path. Along the way, it honours the vital role of community- the presence of others who listen, carry and hold space when we cannot hold it alone.
