The Centre for People, Place and Planet prides themselves on creating transdisciplinary research in line with our mission, values, and in consultation with Indigenous elders across Western Australia. The Centre employs two in-house Cultural Advisors Dr Barbara Bynder (Badimia Yamatji, Balladong Whadjuk Noongar woman) and Trevor Ryan (Badimaya Yamatji, Yuat Wajarri Nyungar Man). In this video, they explain how their contributions not only support the Centre’s researchers but also help connect Western science with Indigenous science on Country.
