In this video I’m breaking down the new Oppo Find X9 Ultra color options and why, the more I see this phone in photos and videos, the more it’s starting to grow on me. At first I wasn’t feeling the design—mainly that massive camera hump—but it’s not “rip my eyes out” ugly like the Nothing Phone 3. And once you remember what this thing is built for (being the best camera phone on the planet), you start looking past the looks because the photo/video output should be straight-up DSLR-level crazy. I also talk about the big question for US buyers: availability. Oppo is teasing a global launch on April 21st, but with the looming FCC situation and the tariff chaos, I’m not convinced the US will be included—or included for long. If you want one “officially,” you may have a tiny window; otherwise you’re looking at eBay, and I’d personally rather buy from the manufacturer for warranty/returns. On the specs side, the camera upgrades are the story: more light intake across lenses, rumored 200MP main (Sony LYT901), a 200MP 3x telephoto (OmniVision), a 10x optical zoom sensor, plus a new selfie camera and improved multispectral color sensor.
