In this video I’m sharing my unpopular mom opinions—coming from the perspective of a stay-at-home, homeschool mom of eight. I talk about the pressure we all feel to do things “the right way” because we saw another mom do it, or because social media makes it look like everyone else has it together. And honestly? I’m here to say it’s okay if your version of motherhood doesn’t look perfectly organized or perfectly planned. I walk through the kinds of things I do that are probably “out of the norm” for some people, especially as a large-family mom, and I explain why I’m okay with it. The big takeaway is that we’re all just trying to do our best, and you don’t have to parent based on someone else’s expectations. If something works for your family, your season, and your sanity, that matters more than checking every box.
