Regardless of how long I've been homeschooling, there always seems to be room for doubt to creep in from time to time. Consider this normal! Especially if you have been a public school mom before, you know that there are times you, or your kiddo, will feel like they're missing out on certain things. As I always say, if a negative pops in, replace it with two positives! Let me know if you have any comments/ questions! About This Video

In this video, I’m talking about something I think every homeschool mom deals with at some point: questioning your decision to homeschool. No matter how long I’ve been doing this, doubt can still creep in, and I want you to know that’s normal. Especially if you came from public school like I did, it’s easy to start wondering if your kids are “missing out” on certain experiences or if you’re doing enough. I share the mindset shift that helps me when those negative thoughts show up. I always say: if a negative pops in, replace it with two positives. That might look like reminding yourself what your kids are gaining at home, what your family rhythm looks like now, and how much flexibility you have to meet each child where they are. The big takeaway is that doubt doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you care. Give yourself permission to feel it, then anchor back into the reasons you chose this in the first place.
