In this video I’m sharing the high school changes I made in our homeschool for the spring semester, because let’s be real—homeschooling high school is still a learning experience for me and for my high schooler. Even if you start the year with a solid plan, sometimes you realize certain parts are just too complicated or not working the way you hoped. So I tweaked what we were doing to make things simpler and more doable, without losing the learning. I talk through what I adjusted and why, and I’m honest that this is still something I’m testing out. The big takeaway is that you’re allowed to pivot mid-year, especially in high school, and it doesn’t mean you “messed up”—it means you’re paying attention. My goal for spring is less stress, clearer expectations, and a setup my teen can actually follow with more confidence.
