In this video I’m sharing something I had to learn the hard way this year: high school homeschool is not one-size-fits-all—especially when it comes to scheduling. A traditional “7 class day” can look great on paper, but it doesn’t always fit your teen’s workload, attention span, or the way your family’s days actually run. I talk through why it’s okay to step back and rethink the structure, instead of forcing a public-school style schedule at home. I also share alternative ways to set up your high schooler’s day so the schedule works for them (and for you). The big takeaway is that you can build a plan that still gets everything done without burning your student out or making every day feel like a sprint. If you’ve got a teen who’s overwhelmed, dragging through lessons, or struggling to juggle heavier high school work, changing the flow of the day can be a huge help.
