In this short, I’m testing what might be the smallest charger I’ve ever seen—and it’s also one of the smartest. This tiny Anker charger is literally smaller than my iPhone, and even smaller than Anker’s previous 30W charger. The first thing that caught my eye is what it calls “smart recognization,” where it automatically detects what you plug in and shows you useful info right on the screen. After I plug it in, it greets you with a little “hello,” and you can tap the top button to interact with the animated figure. Then I plug in my iPhone over USB-C and it immediately recognizes the phone model, shows my charge percentage, and displays the live wattage. I can also tap through to see temperature (mine showed “breezing”), and jump into settings to toggle between auto mode and care mode. Care mode drops charging down to a gentler 13–14W. I also show how it adjusts for other devices—like a Kindle at around 6W—and then ramps up higher for a MacBook Air, pushing into the 19–20W range as it reads the bigger battery needs.
