In this video I tested the Desk C5 Enterprise Google TV smart projector to see if it’s actually one of the best budget projectors you can buy on Amazon. It’s a 1080p projector with a quoted 2500 lumens and support for up to a 300-inch image, so I broke the review into four parts: unboxing, setup, features/controls, and then real tests for picture and sound. I also walk through the ports (HDMI, 2x USB-A, headphone jack) and what you get in the box, including the remote, HDMI cable, and power cord. For setup, I showed the built-in Google TV experience (pairing the remote, signing in, apps, Live TV) and then compared it to using my Nvidia Shield over HDMI. The big takeaway: Google TV works and looks polished, but the Shield feels noticeably snappier. I also tested throw distance (around 6 ft gave me about a 42-inch image, and you’ll need roughly 12 ft for 120 inches), checked fan noise at about 40 dB in standby, and did a sound + video test in a dark room. For the price range, I was genuinely impressed—especially with the speaker bass and clear vocals—so if you want a solid mid-size budget projector with great sound, this one is worth a look.
