About This Video

In this video I put three of the top electric lunch boxes on Amazon head-to-head in a real heating test to see what’s actually worth buying. I tested the soft-sided Aotto, the plug-in Cozy Expert, and the fully battery-powered LunchGo. First, I break down what you actually get in the box for each one, because accessories matter a lot with these. Aotto is pretty barebones (you supply your own container), Cozy Expert includes a metal tray plus extras like a carrying case and car adapter, and LunchGo honestly goes overboard in a good way with a two-tier bag, utensils, ice packs, and a 45W USB-C fast charger. Then I go through features and do a side-by-side heat test using exactly one cup of fried rice in each lunchbox for 15 minutes. Cozy Expert heated the fastest (about 138°F), Aotto landed in the middle (around 125–129°F), and LunchGo was the slowest (roughly 113–120°F). Even so, LunchGo impressed me because it wasn’t that far behind while running on a battery. My final take: if you want advanced settings and “zero wait time” scheduling, LunchGo is my winner. If you just want quick, simple heat and you don’t need a battery, Cozy Expert is the one I’d pick.
