This Raleigh Cadent 2 came to me missing parts and honestly wasn’t very comfortable to ride. So in this video I install 5 comfort upgrades that completely changed how this bike feels on the road. I upgraded the pedals, handlebars, grips, saddle, and suspension seatpost to create a more upright, relaxed, and comfortable commuter bike setup. I also tried installing wider tires for even more comfort… but that project didn’t exactly go as planned. If you’re trying to make your hybrid bike, commuter bike, fitness bike, or older mountain bike more comfortable, these upgrades can make a huge difference. Upgrades include: Wide platform pedals Swept-back comfort handlebars Ergonomic grips Selle Royal Vivo saddle SR Suntour NCX suspension seatpost ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 - 5 comfort upgrades for the Raleigh Cadent 2 0:23 - Wide platform pedal upgrade 0:57 - Swept-back handlebars and ergonomic grips 1:33 - Selle Royal Vivo comfort saddle 1:56 - SR Suntour NCX suspension seatpost 2:35 - My failed wider tire experiment 3:01 - Best comfort upgrades recap #bikecommuting, #hybridbike, #bikeupgrade, #comfortbike, #cyclinglife, #bikemechanic, #cyclingtips, #commuterbike, #diybike, #bikerepair ************************************************************************* I only recommend items I actually OWN and use.
