About This Video

Hi dear friend. In this Bitget 2026 tutorial, I showed you exactly how to add a bank payment method on the Bitget Exchange app so you can buy and sell on the P2P market without stress. I started from the home screen, clicked the profile icon, then scrolled down to P2P and went into Profile → Payment Method → Add. Before Bitget will let you add any bank details, you need to complete the required binds—ID and email (if you’ve done them already) and then your mobile bind, which is the common one people get stuck on. I walked you through linking your phone number step-by-step: select your country code, enter your number, request the SMS code (or use voice call if SMS fails), then submit and complete the extra email verification. I also explained the timing—SMS codes are short (about 60 seconds), while email codes can last up to 10 minutes, so you need to be quick. After that, I added an OP payment method (popular in Nigeria) and then added a local bank account by selecting my bank (First Bank of Nigeria) and entering my account number. The main takeaway: adding a payment method on Bitget is not rocket science—just follow the exact path and complete the verifications fast.
