The mornings are colder now, and even when the sun is out I’m reaching for long sleeves—so yes, fall has officially settled in here between Milan and the mountains. In this video I bring you along for a very real slow-living day: a little seasonal home refresh (Jerusalem artichokes in bloom are my personal “first step” into cozy fall décor), a deep clean after a summer spent at home doing house and garden work, and some comforting baking experiments. While it cleaned, I tackled other chores, set routines from the app, and even did the dreaded oven-cleaning trick with lemon vapors. Then I finally dared to bake bread for the first time—cast iron pan and all—with a simple dough recipe, plus the easiest sweet treat: crushed biscuits, cream cheese, and espresso (and cocoa if you want). It wasn’t perfect (my seeds fell off and my “dessert” looked like mud), but I loved the process—and I’m already dreaming of trying bread in the air fryer next.
