Slow Living in Italy: Cozy Kitchen Finds, Harvest Recipes & Home Decor Inspiration Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel! For translations, please click on the CC button. In today’s episode, I’d like to share with you what I cooked with the garden harvest, some cozy home decor for inspiration, and a few interesting kitchen finds. More about me: My name is Cory, and I live on the outskirts of Milan in a 100-year-old renovated house. I work as a creative producer in advertising, and in my spare time, I write screenplays. I’ve just finished my first psychological thriller novel, a work of investigation. Here you can find the illustrated children books that I wrote under the pseudonym Tina Renolf. About This Video

Hello September! In this video I’m trying to enjoy the last warm days as much as I can, even if my “spring experiment” in the garden came with a very real snail problem (they were happily feasting on my vegetables all summer long… lucky for them I don’t know how to make escargot… not yet). Since my partner’s dad brought me some of his last harvest, I decided to preserve cherry tomatoes—this time I kept them natural so I can use them for cooking. I also share my little trick for removing the tough skin with hot water… even if it took me half a lifetime and two broken nails. Between walks with Arly and a bit of zero-budget home decor (yes, I decorate with weeds, and yes, I got stung near my knee for it), I ease into the cozy season with the one thing I truly love about the cold months: baking. I make an easy peach cake with yogurt and walnuts—plus, as usual, a few prayers not to get fat—and then I move into my favorite kitchen finds of the week: two cast iron pans I grabbed on offer at Lidl. I test one right away with a veggie stew using my huge carrots, and I’m already planning to bake bread in the other one (while also reminding myself to watch out for burns).
