Slow Living in Italy: Baking Focaccia Bread & No-Bake Raspberry Cheesecake + New Garden Decor Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel! For translations, please click on the CC button. In today's episode, I’ll share two delicious recipes — Italian focaccia bread and no-bake raspberry cheesecake — along with a peek at my new garden décor. More about me: My name is Cory, and I live on the outskirts of Milan in a 100-year-old renovated house. I work as a creative producer in advertising, and in my spare time, I write screenplays. I’ve just finished my first psychological thriller novel, a work of investigation. Here you can find the illustrated children books that I wrote under the pseudonym Tina Renolf. About This Video

I’m back with a cozy slow living episode from the outskirts of Milan—though I have to apologize for missing my post last Saturday because work completely took over. I even stared at the IKEA outdoor shoe storage I bought weeks ago without assembling it (you know how bad my relationship with assembling stuff is… hehe!). And honestly, the color doesn’t match our garden at all, so I’m secretly hoping someone in this household will pity me, sand it down, and repaint it dark brown to match the bench and the wooden blinds. In this video I finally gathered the courage to bake something “bread-adjacent” and made an Italian focaccia: fresh yeast, a little sugar, flour, olive oil, salt, and a very relaxing mixing sound. I wasn’t patient enough with the rising and folding (I’ll do better next time!), and yes… I might have exaggerated with the oil—hahaha! But it still came out crunchy outside and soft inside, and I share my favorite way to eat it: pesto + mortadella, and if you want your taste buds to go wild, add burrata too. Between rises, I worked on garden decor—repotting my spider plant, saving gladiolus bulbs, and showing you a beautiful old garden table a neighbor offered us (it would be a shame to throw it away!). Then we celebrate with a no-bake raspberry cheesecake: creamy ricotta + Philadelphia, lemon zest, a touch of beet powder for color, and a glossy raspberry topping. The result? Imperfect, but delicious!
