Slow Living in Italy: 3 Coffee Desserts & Easy Summer Recipes | Gardening Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel! For translations, please click on the CC button. In today’s episode, I’m going to share a bit of gardening, three delicious and easy coffee-flavored desserts, and some simple summer recipes. More about me: My name is Cory, and I live on the outskirts of Milan in a 100-year-old renovated house. I work as a creative producer in advertising, and in my spare time, I write screenplays. I’ve just finished my first psychological thriller novel, a work of investigation. Here you can find the illustrated children books that I wrote under the pseudonym Tina Renolf. About This Video

Despite the heat, I’m soaking up what summer does best here on the outskirts of Milan: the garden just keeps blooming. In this episode I share a little peek into my outdoor resets—how my plants suffered when we left for Malta (plants are like babies… they need constant love and care), how my jasmine got so wild I had to redirect the branches, and even how I bring a bit of the countryside inside with blooming hay for a rustic touch in my minimal kitchen. Then we move into my favorite comfort zone: easy, coffee-flavored desserts and simple summer food. I bake a soft coffee marble cake that’s perfect with a morning espresso or cappuccino (and yes, I’m really into all things coffee). I also make a quick coffee cream—my tip is to keep everything cold and don’t overdo the ice, and if it turns too liquid, add fridge-cold heavy cream and whip it. For savory, I keep it light with “fake” puff pastry panzerotti with a Cory twist, plus a lifesaver bruschetta: avocado, red onion, salt, Tabasco, lemon, and garlicky prawns. And for rainy days? Baking a walnut cake with a coffee cream that’s basically a guaranteed trip to heaven… in every sense. Haha!
