Drone shots are probably the most emotional part of my work as a creative producer—there’s something magical about the immense beauty they capture, and the emotions they awaken in us. In this video, I’m sharing a slow holiday living day in Italy, divided between cozy home moments and a little glimpse of the mountains. We went to check on our mountain house, I gathered branches for Christmas décor, and I kept daydreaming about the kind of aerial imagery I’d love to bring into my YouTube world—over Lake Iseo, the mountains, and our quiet travel days. Back at home, I start the Christmas reset in the most interestingly technological way: cleaning and refreshing our bedroom before decorating it. I’m featuring the DJI ROMO P robot vacuum, and I was genuinely impressed by details like the extendable brush and mop for edges and corners, the smart obstacle avoidance (yes, even with pets and cables), and especially the anti-drop system for stairs. Then I move into my favorite part of slow living—small seasonal rituals: new green bedding as my little Christmas gift to myself, a simple room makeover, and some very real-life baking experiments (including my ongoing battle with red dye). I end with holiday lights in Iseo and a wish for light—whether you celebrate Christmas or not.
