macOS Sequoia has officially dropped Intel support, making this likely my last ever OpenCore Hackintosh build on an Intel-based machine. In this video, I update my Lenovo ThinkServer to run macOS Sequoia using OpenCore, tweaking the config for maximum stability and performance. If you're still rocking Intel hardware and want to squeeze out one last macOS upgrade, this video is for you. I cover the updated EFI setup, fixes for Sequoia, and final optimizations for a smooth Hackintosh experience before Apple fully transitions to Apple Silicon. 🔧 System Specs: Lenovo ThinkServer Intel Xeon CPU OpenCore Bootloader macOS Sequoia LINK TO THE EFI https://ishortn.ink/bWpP5gpu6 💬 Drop your questions in the comments, and let’s keep the Hackintosh spirit alive one last time! 👍 Like, Subscribe, and hit the bell for more builds, server projects, and tech DIY tutorials. 🌐 Website: https://ishortn.ink/mI5DUxUTy 📧 Email: corecomputingsystems@gmail.com 🔵 Patreon: https://ishortn.ink/4SMdzRYAh 🌐 GitHub EFI's https://ishortn.ink/4lcchfNf2 📱 Facebook group: https://ishortn.ink/GEanAsLDz

About This Video

In this video I’m updating my Lenovo ThinkServer Hackintosh build to run macOS Sequoia using OpenCore. With Apple dropping Intel support, this is realistically the “end of an era” for Intel Hackintoshes, so I wanted to squeeze out one last solid upgrade on hardware that’s been ridiculously reliable for me. My ThinkServer is running 24GB of RAM, an SSD, and an AMD RX 560 4GB (I misspoke at first and said RX 570), and the reason I keep coming back to this machine is simple: everything just works out of the box. I noticed my OpenCore setup was a bit out of date, so I refreshed the EFI and applied patches that improve stability and performance. I’m sharing the updated EFI on my GitHub so if you’ve got the same ThinkServer and an RX 560, you can build a bootable USB and get going fast—just make sure you generate your own serials. I also quickly show how I do that using OC Auxiliary Tools: open the EFI, load config.plist, go to PlatformInfo, and hit Generate. I’ll keep pushing updated builds (including HP and a Dell Optiplex 5050), because even if Sequoia ends up being the last Intel macOS, you can still get a couple of years of real use out of it.
