In this video I’m testing Steam game playback on the Lenovo Legion Y700 and I finally hit the milestone I’ve been chasing: controller support actually working while the games run locally. I’m using GameHub as the frontend, and the big win here is simple—inputs are registering properly. I’m not talking about streaming from a PC or cloud; this is the Y700 running the games on-device, and seeing the controls respond in the demo was the “okay, we’re getting somewhere” moment. I also walk through what I’m seeing inside GameHub: it’s pulling in my Steam library and showing a full list of titles, which honestly is massive news for anyone trying to make the Y700 a legit handheld-style setup. I’m still troubleshooting why “game native” isn’t allowing the controller the way I want, but GameHub is clearly doing something right in the background. The takeaway is that the path is real now—Steam titles, local execution, and working controller input—so the next step is figuring out the remaining quirks and making it consistent.
