Hey you guys—today I’m doing a simple Valentine’s Day clean and decorate with me. I had a few areas around the house that needed a quick tidy up, and then I just wanted to add a little pop of Valentine’s decor… nothing too crazy. I start by making coffee (and yes, I had to show you my new Target mug because it is so cute—red, pink, and white stripes, heart-shaped, and it was only $5). Then we get into refreshing a few spaces so everything feels clean, cozy, and pulled together. For the living room, I kept it super minimal. I pulled out some older Threshold pillow covers from a spring line a couple years back, but they honestly give Valentine’s with that clay pink, cream, and green floral block print. On my side table, I used two wooden hearts from Target (Mondo Llama) just to give that subtle Valentine’s touch without taking over the room. And for the dining room table—because it always turns into a catch-all when I’m decorating—I cleared everything off, wiped it down, and styled it simply. One of my favorite touches was the three-tier apothecary jar from Target filled with candy like Hershey Kisses, M&M’s, and jelly hearts for an easy, cute centerpiece moment.
