About This Video

In this Spring 2026 decorate-with-me, I’m refreshing my living room with a minimal, cozy vibe—think light textures, soft color, and simple pieces that instantly make the space feel brighter. One of you guys suggested pulling the couch away from the wall, and I’m so glad I tried it because it made the room feel more spacious and honestly more put together. Before I start styling, I wipe everything down (today it was Mrs. Meyer’s Clementine—smells so good) and then I build my decor in layers so it still feels clean and intentional. I start on the TV console with Real Touch tulips from Marshalls, a thrifted vase (only $1.49—definitely a steal), and a coffee table book for height. I keep the coffee table simple with a subtle pop of spring, then move into my baskets and trays—this is where I add my antique French confit pot (it comes out every season), yellow ranunculus stems, and a few pretty accents like a Hearth & Hand candle and a gold swan dish. To finish the room, I soften everything with cream mums in a four-handled vase, swap in cream and yellow floral pillowcases, and do one of my favorite seasonal tricks: switching out wall art with an Etsy print I can have printed at Walgreens or CVS.
