In this video, I head out to do some simple vertical jigging for spring crappies, catch a handful of perfect eater fish, and bring them home for an awesome crappie taco catch and cook. Along the way, I talk through what I’m looking for when targeting crappies this time of year, the basic setup I’m using, and why vertical jigging is one of the most effective ways to stay on fish and catch them consistently.
