Vilas County Fishing Trip - Camping, Fishing and Cooking In Northeast Wisconsin!

I headed to the Northwoods of Wisconsin near Minocqua for a 2-day camping and fishing adventure with one goal in mind: explore a completely new area and see what I could figure out. I launched the boat and started fishing right away, hoping to put together a pattern on unfamiliar water. What happened next exceeded my expectations. Over the course of the day, I caught six different species of fish while learning the lake in real time and adapting to what the fish were telling me. After a full day on the water, I returned to camp, set up the new Clam Ayr shelter, cooked a fresh shore lunch over the campfire, and settled in for the night in the Wisconsin wilderness.
