In this video I take a quick look at NoteGPT, a newer AI tool that’s built around summaries, transcripts, and turning long content into something you can actually use. I walk through the interface (dark theme vs light theme — I’m a light theme guy), then jump straight into the YouTube summarizer. The workflow is simple: copy a YouTube link, paste it into NoteGPT, hit generate, and it spits out a structured summary plus extra tools like a mind map and an AI chat you can ask questions about the video. I also show how to download your results in different formats: plain text with or without timestamps, and SRT files with or without timestamps. The SRT export is especially useful if you want cleaner subtitles for YouTube captions and even language translations. After that, I demo the chapter generator—copy the timestamps into YouTube, clean up any extra lines, save, and you instantly get clickable chapters on the timeline. My honest take: it does most of the work for you, but you still need to review and edit. AI can miss spellings (like “Valeton” showing up wrong), and the AI chat sometimes gives a long answer when you want something direct. Still, if you’re studying, researching, or building content fast, it’s a solid time-saver.
